Our Porcelain tiles are of the highest quality.

Porcelain tiles are produced by a different method from normal ceramic tiles. Instead of the glaze being applied to a ceramic tile base the glaze is blended with the clay that forms the tile. This porcelain clay ‘body’ is then pressed at extreme pressure to form the tile in a highly sophisticated hydraulic press.

The porcelain tiles are then fired at very high temperatures exceeding 1200 degrees Centigrade resulting in an extremely hard, dense, homogenous tile. Polished Porcelain tiles are then polished to a very high finish using exactly the same equipment as is used to polish Granite and Marble.
